Questions new moms ask

Tap any to expand.

What is the fourth trimester?

The first twelve weeks after your baby is born. Your body is healing. Your sleep is gone. Most women get one checkup, at six weeks. That is a long time to wait.

What happens at a visit?

Meg comes to your home. First she teaches: how to move, lift, and feed so your body can heal. Then she takes the baby and you rest.

Overnight, Meg has the baby for eight hours. You sleep.

Is this pelvic floor physical therapy?

No. Meg is a physical therapist, and she teaches like one. But these visits do not include a pelvic floor exam or pelvic floor treatment. That is a separate visit. Prices are on the pricing page.

Is this mental health care?

No. Meg is not a counselor. She listens, and she knows the signs that mean you need more help.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988. The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline is free, day and night: 1-833-852-6262.
