College Hill Has Always Made Do Without Much
Out on College Hill Road, self-sufficiency isn't a lifestyle choice, it's just how things have always been. The families who've been here for generations know what it means to handle things yourself, drive a ways when you have to, and not complain about it.
But specialized healthcare shouldn't require a two-hour round trip to Memphis. Pelvic floor physical therapy is real, effective treatment for real problems. You shouldn't have to talk yourself into making that drive just to access it.
Dr. Meg Cochran serves College Hill with in-home visits. She comes to you.
Why Women Out Here Put It Off
It's not that women in the College Hill area don't want help with pelvic floor issues. It's that the logistics have always felt impossible. You look into it, find out the nearest specialist is in Memphis, and decide to deal with it on your own.
Leaking when you laugh or lift something heavy. Pelvic pressure that gets worse by the end of the day. Pain that's just been there so long you stopped mentioning it. These things have a way of becoming background noise when treatment feels out of reach.
It's not out of reach anymore. That's the whole point of this practice.
What Meg Can Help With
- Urinary incontinence (stress, urgency, or both)
- Pelvic organ prolapse symptoms
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Painful intercourse
- Postpartum recovery, including years after delivery
- Bowel dysfunction connected to pelvic floor
- Tailbone, hip, and low back pain with a pelvic component
- Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain
How the Visit Works
Meg drives out to your home. You don't need to set anything up specially. The first visit runs 90 minutes to two hours and covers your full history, your symptoms, and a hands-on pelvic floor assessment.
She'll explain what she finds in plain language. You'll leave the first appointment with a clear treatment plan and a real sense of what's going on. Follow-up visits are shorter and can continue at your home on a schedule that works for you.
HSA and FSA are accepted. Call (662) 832-1790 if you want to talk before booking.
